Dataton, the Swedish experts in show control development and manufacturing, have teamed up Digital Projection International and domeprojection.com to create an immersive video projection experience for the Prolight + Sound 2012 expo (March 21 to 24, 2012, Open Air Area F11.0, Stand A19).
On display will be a 10 meter 360° wrap around dome screen showing clips from “Cosmic Dance”, a fulldome movie via Dataton’s WATCHOUT™ multi-display presentation system.

WATCHOUT version 5 is a multi-display, timeline-based software system which includes stereoscopic playback, 3D effects and other innovative elements, including enhanced live interaction. Digital Projection International provided lenses for the high-brightness HighLiteTM series projectors, which were integrated with domeprojection.com’s auto-alignment system.
The whole video projection experience shows off the expertise and leading edge technologies of the combined team, illustrating the potential for visitor attractions and events to create exceptional immersive educational and entertainment experiences.
