The new Great Wolf Lodge in Perryville, Maryland will feature the company’s largest indoor water park to date at 128,000 square feet when it opens later this year.
The water park will be home to 22 slides, as well as pools, a lazy river and a giant tipping bucket. It will also offer two new rides, High Paw Holler and Forest Flume.
High Paw Holler will send riders through a dark tunnel and onto a saucer before they race along the outer wall and splash down into a watery runout.
New resort to include 22 waterslides
Forest Flume is a body slide that accelerates riders through open flumes into back-to-back turns, 360-degree loops and high-banking loops.
Highlights also include Otter Cave Waterworks, Great Wolf Lodge‘s signature water play structure with suspension bridges, slides, spray stations and a 1,000-gallon tipping bucket.
Chesapeake Plunge is a raft ride, Rapid Racer a single or double-person tube slide, and River Canyon Run a family raft ride. Wolf Tail is an aquatic attraction for thrill-seekers.
Otter Run is a body slide, while Slap Tail Pond is a gigantic wave pool. Crooked Creek is a lazy river attraction, and Chinook Cove is an activity pool with basketball hoops and floating obstacles.

Additionally, Big Foot Pass is a unique water obstacle challenge, and Whooping Hollow is a special area of the water park for toddlers and young guests with small waterslides.
Great Wolf Resorts is North America’s largest family of indoor water park resorts. Its latest opened in Manteca, California in June 2021.
The company is currently constructing resorts in Webster, Texas and Naples, Florida. The former, Great Wolfās second indoorĀ water parkĀ resortĀ in Texas, is due to open in 2024. The latter, a $250 million attraction, is the company’s first in Florida.
