Martin Aquatic Design & Engineering, a world-class aquatic firm, has announced a name change from Aquatic Design & Engineering, in order to solidify the family legacy.
Martin Aquatic Design & Engineering (Martin Aquatic) is pleased to announce it will now be trading under its new name, which has been changed from the original name of Aquatic Design & Engineering. After 32 years in the business, the family-owned firm made the change to solidify the legacy of founding principal, Ken Martin.
āDesigning resort pools, fountains and water features, thrilling water park amenities, and themed entertainment experiences fits a very small niche,ā said Martin Aquaticās president and creative director Josh Martin. āHowever, as this industry evolved, it took on the very name of our company. At the same time, my father Ken had become a leader in the aquatics space, and I can think of no better tribute to the legacy he has created than to rename the company Martin Aquatic Design & Engineering.ā
Evolution in aquatic design
To date, Martin Aquatic has designed almost 2,500 projects worldwide, building a reputation as one of the top players in the industry, able to translate complex designs into working aquatic features, using its engineering expertise.
āUnder Joshās leadership, our team has developed incredible capabilities for what can be done with water,ā said Ken Martin. āThis isnāt the same firm that I started 30 years ago. Itās not even the same firm it was two years ago.ā
The company has worked on many major projects around the globe, including theme parks, resorts, aquatic centres, public parks, corporate headquarters, cruise ship amenities and more. Martin Aquatic will be present at the 2019 World Waterpark Association Show from the 7th – 10th October at Disneyās Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida, where team members are looking forward to introducing clients old and new to the new name.
