Waterparks and waterslides expert, ProSlide, has expanded its European team with the appointment of a new Business Development Manager for Europe.
Geert van Heugten, who has held roles with Merlin Entertainments (Netherlands) and Holiday Park Kownaty (Poland), will be based in Amsterdam.
“Given the strong growth that we are seeing in Eastern Europe, we believe that now is a perfect time to expand our sales team, ” commented Lars Lenders, Vice President of Business Development at ProSlide. “We expect this growth to accelerate in the coming years, and want to ensure the best service for our clients.”
Van Heugten is a graduate of NHTV Breda, one of only three leisure expertise centres in the world. The university has affiliations with IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions), TEA (Themed Entertainment Association), as well as several significant market players, including Efteling and Walt Disney World.
