A leading innovator in waterslides, Polin Waterparks, will be showcasing its new Storm Racer and Mantis rides at the Euro Attractions Show.

Visitors to Polin’s Booths #1-603 & #1-1003 in Hall 1 will be treated to a display of the company’s Storm Racer waterslide. Guest have been enjoying the very first installation of this pioneering ride configuration at Aqualand Frejus France this summer. The high capacity Storm Racer features unique geometry and an exclusive, interactive ”Watersplash”.
Attendees will also get a look at the Mantis waterslide via a hologram 3D model. Polin describes the ride as unique in terms of its design configuration, engineering and ride path. Targeting thrill-seekers who love a new challenge, the Mantis allows riders to race one another via twin-symmetrical slides. (A single version is also available.)
Riders enter from a height of 9 metres (29 feet) via a tower platform. Hurtling through a closed tube at speeds of up to 36 km/h (22 mph), they shoot into a wide, open bowl. Momentum propels them around the giant concave curve and into a short, enclosed tunnel before shooting them into a run-out or splash pool.
Try out Slide’n Score gaming technology
The company is also offering the chance to experience its Slide’n Score gaming technology. Slide’nScore turns a waterslide into an interactive game. Players try to press coloured buttons on a handheld controller in synch with the changing colours they see as they race through the ride.
Finally and new this year, Polin is featuring a display introducing its range of ride textures to add an extra layer of ‘wow’ to waterparks, including graffiti, wood and metallic finishes.
