Waterplay’s President Honoured in the W100 List of Canada’s Top Female Entrepreneurs

News

The President of leading provider of aquatic recreation solutions, Waterplay® Solutions Corp., has been named one of Canada’s Top 100 female entrepreneurs.

Waterplay's President Honoured in the W100 List of Canada's Top Female EntrepreneursJill White was chosen by PROFITguide.com and Canadian Business Magazine based on Waterplay’s size, growth rate, and profitability.

White, who described her ranking in the W100 list for Canada’s Top Female Entrepreneurs as a great honour, added, “This recognition reflects the exceptional growth of our product over the years and the hard work of our entire team.”

White is not a lone female in the boardroom at Waterplay; both the Managing Director and Director of Finance are women.

White bought Waterplay from its founders in 2004 and has since steered the company to become a global leader in the aquatic play industry. It now operates a full manufacturing facility, employs over 50 people and is actively involved in supporting the local community through its work with organisations including the Boys & Girls Club, United Way, the Kelowna Food Bank, and Salvation Army.

Located in Kelowna, Waterplay offers the full range of innovative splash and spray play features, as well as activity centres, waterslides, and cutting-edge urban water features. Waterplay products feature worldwide in aquatic facilities, community parks, entertainment facilities, holiday parks, hotels and resorts, housing developments and water parks.
