Leading creator of waterpark attractions, Whitewater, has won the Best Large Water Rides Supplier Award at the Asia Attractions Awards for Outstanding Suppliers.
The company was nominated by Chinese themed attractions operators.
David Bogdonov, VP Business Development, China (above left), was on hand to accept the award on behalf of WhiteWater.
The awards programme was instigated by L & A International, an organisation that fosters business opportunities between Chinese and Western companies within the leisure and attractions industry.
“We’re honoured to receive this recognition and are very proud to work with groups such as Samsung Everland, Wanda, OCT, Chimelong, Yinji, Malpani, and Waterbom to name a few to develop word class waterparks that tourists and locals alike will enjoy for many years to come, ” commented WhiteWater.
With an office in Shanghai, WhiteWater has been a key player in the Asian amusement market for over a decade.
The company has worked with some of the world’s major developers and will be celebrating the opening of Yinji Xinmi Waterpark in Zhengzhou, China following the Asian Attractions Expo. Last year, WhiteWater’s President and CEO, Geoff Chutter, reported that the company was supplying the new park with a landmark $34m worth of waterslides, design services and AquaPlay structures.
