Whitewater’s waterslides and attractions are set to take centre stage when RamaYana Waterpark, Thailand finally opens its doors in May.
The new venue, which includes live elephants and an Asian floating market, hopes to attract 2 million visitors annually.
“RamaYana is more than just Thailand’s biggest waterpark, ” says Johannes Pattermann, Marketing & Sales Director, RamaYana Waterpark. “It is an experience of 21 waterslides, some of them totally unique, which span from high thrills to gentle swings.”
Iconic Whitewater slides and attractions include a Flume-Thru-Flume waterslide that dovetails a Family Raft Ride with a double Python waterslide. This unique configuration offers a high capacity ride within a compact footprint, weaving the colourful waterslides right through each other.
Other thrill rides include a 4-lane Mat Razer, a Boomerango, the popular AquaLoop and Freefall, both with launch capsules, and two Dueling Master Blasters racing head-to-head against each other, which Whitewater claims will provide one of the longest ride experiences anywhere.
RamaYana will also offer more laidback experiences as well as a Dual Wave Pool with a beach, and a lazy river.
Safety and hygiene are also a top priority. The 184, 000 m² venue boasts a state-of-the-art filtration system, pure drinking water extracted from its own wells and 80 fully-trained lifeguards.
“We will not only offer a very enjoyable day, but also the highest possible safety standards” adds Pattermann. “Premium slides from WhiteWater only, the best possible water filtration systems and crystal clear drinking water from our own wells will make a visit to RamaYana not only enjoyable, but also safe.”
