The march of retailtainment continues with the news that Emaar Entertainment has signed a deal with Marassi Al Bahrain developer, Eagle Hills Diyar, to create the kingdom’s largest family entertainment centre.
The 13,200 square metre FEC aims to add a new layer to the retail experience at Marassi Galleria and marks Emaar’s first project in Bahrain.
Highlights are set to include an aquarium, a virtual reality zoo, an eco-friendly nature climb and a giant extreme slide.
According to Dr Maher Al Shaer, Managing Director of Eagle Hills Diyar, the FEC will be ‘a mind-blowing experience for visitors of all ages’.
“This is unlike anything that can currently be found in Bahrain,” he explained. “Virtual reality, a luxury cinema, extreme free-slide, nature climb, kids play zone, aquarium, zip-wiring, trampolining, a Digital Family Entertainment Centre; the list goes on – even the most active visitor will be spoilt for choice.”
