GES, Lightstorm Entertainment and Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products have announced that a new interactive travelling exhibition – AVATAR: Discover Pandora – will debut in Taipei, Taiwan on 7 December 2016.
Inspired by the James Cameron film, the immersive 12, 000-square-foot entertainment and educational experience, will allow visitors to explore Pandora’s exotic flora and fauna and the culture and mythology of its indigenous people, the Na’vi, as well as learning about space travel and the ‘history’ of the discovery of Pandora in the 22nd century.
Key exhibits include the Hallelujah Mountains, the Tree of Souls, Banshees, Direhorses, Viperwolves and the Na’vi. Visitors will feel like part of the Avatar Program and learn lessons from Pandora’s unique ecosystem that are relevant to our own planet.
“GES is absolutely thrilled to give Taiwanese fans of AVATAR the world’s first opportunity to explore Pandora in a real-life setting through our newest touring exhibition, ” said Steve Moster, President and Chief Operating Officer, Viad Corp. “Visitors will truly be amazed by the wonders of Pandora, and we are proud to premiere this state-of-the-art exhibit in the Asia-Pacific market.”
