BRC Imagination Arts' Bob Rogers to host Legends Panel at IAAPA Expo

This year's session will explore the lessons, tools and strategies behind the creation of Universal Epic Universe

BRC Imagination Arts, an award-winning design and production company specialising in the creation of innovative brand and cultural experiences, has announced that its founder and chairman, Bob Rogers (pictured, top) will once again be hosting the Legends Panel at IAAPA Expo.

This year, the panel includes four exceptional talents who contributed to the creation of Universal's Epic Universe. The speakers will share strategies, expert insights, and learnings from their remarkable careers in an unmissable, candid discussion.

Rogers has been moderating and curating the panel for 23 years. By providing a platform for industry leaders to share their essential knowledge, this annual event seeks to preserve the invaluable wisdom of key figures in the theme park and themed experience sector.

IAAPA Expo is the leading event for the visitor attractions industry and is taking place from 17 to 21 November in Orlando, Florida. The Legends Panel will take place in the Learning Hub on Wednesday, 19 November, from 4 pm to 5.30 pm.

Bob Rogers

Rogers is founder and chairman of BRC Imagination Arts, and the founder, moderator and curator of the Legends Panel at IAAPA Expo. A renowned industry leader, he has been inducted into the IAAPA Hall of Fame, honoured with the Thea Lifetime Achievement Award, and nominated for two Oscars. He began his career as a magician in Disneyland’s Magic Shop.

Eric Parr

As senior vice president, creative studio, Universal Creative, Parr’s vision and direction are evident in many of the most significant creative achievements at Epic.

A 25-year veteran of the themed entertainment industry, Parr is known for his innovative leadership and strong vision. He takes a playful approach to thinking outside the box, transforming unconventional ideas into bold new concepts that push the limits of technology and creativity. By blending a lifelong learner's curiosity with the proven expertise of an industry leader, Parr inspires teams and create exceptional attractions.

Jody Keller

Keller serves as Universal Creative’s vice president, advanced technology, media and immersive experiences, and provided oversight and strategy for developing new technologies for immersive experiences throughout Epic. Her approach enabled project teams to combine creativity, advanced technology, interactivity, and innovation and push the boundaries of what’s possible.

Steve Blum

Blum brought over 30 years of transformative influence in themed entertainment to Epic.

While his title is executive vice president, engineering and safety, Universal Creative, Blum's contribution to Epic encompassed the development of creative solutions that simultaneously enabled and enhanced the park's creative visions while ensuring engineering and safety reliability.

Katy Pacitti

Pacitti is senior director, executive producer at Universal Creative, and served as the creative lead, also known as the 'world director', for the creative team behind the Isle of Berk. Her leadership is characterised by deep care and a wicked sense of humour.

Recently, BRC Imagination Arts helped to deliver a deeply resonant biographical museum experience at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum (ALPLM) in Springfield, Illinois.
