Las Vegas’ Area15 has brought back its popular Army of the Dead-themed virtual reality (VR) experience in a refreshed venue.

Army of the Dead: Viva Las Vengeance is an immersive VR experience based on Zack Snyder‘s 2021 Netflix original film Army of the Dead.

Using cutting-edge mixed reality technology and VR headsets, visitors can take on the role of a mercenary and battle their way through hordes of bloodthirsty zombies.

They begin the thrilling experience with a briefing in the Las Vengeance quarantine zone. The battle begins in a replica of the film’s taco truck and continues through the zombie-infested streets of Sin City.

Per a press release, guests will feel every growl and gunshot. They can move around and defend their team against attacks from all sides.

The experience finishes with photo opportunities and the chance to purchase Army of the Dead merchandise and memorabilia.

New brand experiences at Area15

Located minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, Area15 is the world’s first purpose-build district for immersive entertainment. It offers live events, innovative attractions, interactive art installations, and unique retail and F&B.

Area15 recently announced a new John Wick experience to open this year. “This experience draws fans into that world like never before, and Area15 is an ideal place for fans to live out the fantasy, action and danger portrayed in the films,” said Jenefer Brown, executive vice president and head of global products and experiences at Lionsgate.

Also coming to Area15 is Universal’s first permanent horror experience outside of its parks. The year-round attraction is called Universal Horror Unleashed.
