Meow Wolf‘s Halloween experience, Cosmic Howl, is returning to all of its locations this year, and the event in Grapevine has been unveiled.

At Meow Wolf’s attractions in Santa Fe, Las Vegas, Denver and Grapevine, “the veil on the portals will be at its thinnest”, the immersive art company said in a press release.

From 11 October, Cosmic Howl at The Real Unreal will allow guests to explore the exhibition “in its most paranormal form”, Meow Wolf added.

“We’ve seen so much excitement around this event from the North Texas community, and we’re sure that this year’s Cosmic Howl will be even more unforgettable,” said Meow Wolf Grapevine’s general manager, Kelly Schwartz.

“There’s no better way to get into the spirit of Halloween than by exploring the unknown, and no better place to do that than through The Real Unreal.”

Throughout October, Meow Wolf Grapevine will offer a curated lineup of Cosmic Howl events, including:

  • Pumpkin painting workshops (11, 18 and 25 October)
  • Creature feature Saturdays (12, 19 and 26 October)
  • Cosmic Howl art jam sessions (13, 20 and 27 October)
  • Game nights (15 and 29 October)
  • Adulti-Verse late-night experiences (17, 24 and 31 October)
  • Cosmic Howl party (31 October)

Meow Wolf launched its annual Cosmic Howl event for Halloween last year. Eerie events are growing in popularity, with visitor attractions seeking to boost sales through expanded and branded experiences.

Growth of seasonal events

Vinny Nicoletti, Meow Wolf’s new chief marketing and revenue officer, told blooloop in a recent interview: “I’m a massive Halloween fan. The reality is that seasonal offerings in this business are becoming more and more popular – and for good reason.”

“However, the most important thing we have to figure out is how we do these seasonal celebrations in a distinctly Meow Wolf way,” he added.
