Mousetrappe Media, an award-winning media design and production company, has announced the addition of two dynamic professionals to its expanding team. Jim Botko will lead strategic business development for Mousetrappe, while Lara Heart will step in as marketing and business development coordinator. They will drive new opportunities and expand Mousetrappe’s reach into new and existing markets.

Jim Botko

Botko brings an impressive track record of experience in media, animation, and game design to Mousetrappe. As strategic business development lead, he will spearhead efforts to expand Mousetrappe’s reach in the location-based entertainment, brand marketing, and gaming sectors.

He started his career in entertainment in 1990 as VP of movies and mini-series at Warner Bros. Television for ten years. He then became VP of event programming at inDemand PPV, where he was in charge of several high-profile events.

During his ten years at Hollywood trailer juggernaut Hammer Creative, Botko co-founded the video game section in 2003 and helped create some of the most iconic video game trailers and marketing collateral. He founded Thermal Entertainment in 2013, a boutique company representing the top media and CG/animation for the video game and themed entertainment sectors.

“I am thrilled to be working with the talented team at Mousetrappe, where innovation and storytelling using creative media are at the heart of every project,” says Botko. “Mousetrappe’s work is going to be a great new addition to Thermal’s roster of clients, and I’m eager to expand our impact across new markets and platforms while exploring even more work with their existing A-list clients.”

Lara Heart

Heart, an accomplished entrepreneur and digital marketer with a diverse background in network marketing and equestrian sports, is joining the Mousetrappe team as marketing and business development coordinator. Using her social media and digital strategy expertise, Heart has successfully built multiple network marketing businesses, driving annual team revenues of over $1.5 million.

She is an elite equestrian who runs a successful horse training and competition business, assisting her clients and their horses in becoming the best in their sport. Mousetrappe will benefit from her unique blend of marketing and business acumen as she concentrates on growing the company’s market presence and brand recognition via social media and high-impact marketing techniques while fostering new and existing client relationships and business growth.

“I am excited to be part of such an innovative and creative company,” says Heart. “Mousetrappe’s commitment to storytelling and creating one-of-a-kind experiences through digital media resonates deeply with me. I look forward to applying my marketing skills to build connections with clients and enhance our brand’s reach in fresh, dynamic ways.”

New tiered services structure

This addition to talent growth aligns with the launching of Mousetrappe’s new three-tiered pricing structure for media creation.

Thanks to this new organisational structure, its award-winning digital content and media creation services will now be more affordable and adaptable for a wider variety of customers. Whether they are large theme parks or up-and-coming companies looking for unique media material, organisations of all sizes may work with Mousetrappe to produce custom storytelling masterpieces that are suited to their needs due to this new pricing model.

Daren Ulmer, founder and chief creative officer of Mousetrappe, sees these new developments as a significant step forward for the company: “We’re thrilled to welcome Jim and Lara to the Mousetrappe family. Their experience and passion are perfectly aligned with our vision for growth. This is an exciting time for us, and we’re ready to deliver more of the storytelling magic and emotion we are famous for!”

Chuck Fawcett, chairman and chief business officer of Mousetrappe, adds: “Our new business development team and pricing structure represent an evolution for Mousetrappe. We’ve always been about creating world-class media, and now we can extend that expertise to more companies and industries such as cruise lines, architectural firms and brand activations; allowing them to benefit from the same high standards of creativity and production we’ve always been known for.”

Together with Mousetrappe’s creative pricing strategy, the inclusion of Botko and Heart demonstrates the studio’s dedication to growing its clientele while adhering to its core values of immersive media and superior digital storytelling. With its expanding workforce, Mousetrappe will be able to maintain its position as the industry leader in media production for theme parks, museums, attractions, and brand activations worldwide.
