Fast and Furious – Supercharged to debut at Universal Studios Florida on 2 May

The upcoming Fast and Furious – Supercharged attraction will premiere at Universal Studios Florida on 2 May with a media and VIP party. It is expected to open to the public the following day.

In the attraction, guests can meet their favourite characters from the Fast and Furious film franchise including Tej (Chris “Ludacris” Bridges), Mia (Jordana Brewster) Dom (Vin Diesel), Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson), Roman (Tyrese Gibson) and criminal mastermind Owen Shaw (Luke Evans).

Fast and Furious – Supercharged will feature a brand-new storyline and will be similar to the attraction that opened at Universal Studios Hollywood in 2015.

In this version, riders will have a chance to explore the crew’s new hangout, featuring Dom’s Dodge Charger as well as the Family Room and Tej’s high-tech War Room.

The attraction will feature more than 15 authentic Fast and Furious cars from the film franchise. Each car, including Dom’s Dodge Charger and Letty’s Turbo Truck, has been built by Dennis McCarthy, the man behind the cars for the Fast and Furious films.

After looking around, guests will board buses and face off against Owen Shaw and his henchmen in a high-speed chase.

Fast and Furious – Supercharged will use Universal’s Virtual Line feature. Guests will be able to select a time-slot to experience the attraction using the Official Universal Orlando Resort Mobile App, allowing them to avoid lengthy queues.

While the attraction itself will not be available until 2 May, guests at Universal Studios Florida can already visit its gift shop, the Custom Gear Shop.
