Martin & Vleminckx (MV Rides), a leader in the design, manufacturing, fabrication, and installation of attractions, is collaborating with MagicLand, the largest amusement park in central and southern Italy, on a new coaster set to debut in March 2027.
This agreement will introduce the country's first wooden roller coaster. The partnership marks a strategic milestone in MagicLand's long-term growth and strengthens the park's goal to establish itself as a top entertainment destination in Europe.
Martin & Vleminckx is renowned worldwide for manufacturing and delivering iconic wooden roller coasters across major parks. Its arrival in Italy signifies a significant development for the local industry, bringing a construction approach that merges craftsmanship, advanced engineering, and cohesive thematic design.
Strategic development at MagicLand
The new wooden coaster, designed and manufactured by The Gravity Group, LLC/Gravitykraft Corporation and delivered by Martin & Vleminckx, will feature a modern engineered timber structure that offers a smoother, more dynamic ride while maintaining the authentic charm of traditional wooden coasters.
Full details of the layout and theme will be shared throughout 2026.
Supported by a €15 million investment, the project is part of a larger strategic development plan that will transform the park's offerings in the coming years.

MagicLand is presently in a unique phase of expansion and upgrades. By 2026, the resort plans to launch significant new water slides at MagicSplash, the Caribbean-themed water park, along with other enhancements designed to improve the guest experience in both parks.
These initiatives are part of a broader investment programme announced by MagicLand's ownership, aimed at accelerating growth, enhancing competitiveness, and establishing the resort as one of Europe's most innovative leisure destinations.
Building on the resort's success
In recent years, MagicLand has become a leading name in the Italian amusement sector, recognised not only for its new attractions and investment approach but also for its exceptional seasonal entertainment. The park is especially known for hosting some of Italy's most impressive Halloween and Christmas celebrations.
This success is partly attributed to its strategic partnership with Il Regno di Babbo Natale in Vetralla (The Kingdom Of Santa Claus), which is based on an original narrative universe created by Giorgio Onorato Aquilani and is among Italy's most popular Christmas-themed experiences.
These seasonal events, along with the park's ongoing growth and development, reinforce MagicLand's status as one of Italy's most engaging and rapidly expanding leisure destinations.

"This collaboration marks a pivotal moment in the evolution of MagicLand," says Guido Zucchi, CEO of MagicLand. "Working with Martin & V|eminckx allows us to introduce an attraction that is truly unique for Italy and highly distinctive on Europeans scale.
"This project underscores our commitment to continuous innovation and our ambition to offer memorable, high-quality experiences to guests of all ages. It is a cornerstone of a broader strategy that also includes significant investments scheduled for 2026 and beyond."
Chuck Bingham, senior executive vice president and sales director at Martin & Vleminckx, adds: "Bringing Europe's most exhilarating wooden coaster to life is a milestone for us.
"Partnering with MagicLand has allowed us to fuse bold design, precision engineering, and beautiful theming to create an experience that will redefine thrills for guests."
Last month, Martin & Vleminckx announced that three of its wooden roller coasters have been named among the Top 10 Roller Coasters in China at the 2025 Golden Crown Awards by the Chinese amusement industry.
