100, 000th Visitor for Continuum’s Coronation Street The Tour

News

Continuum Leading Attractions has announced that only two months after opening, Coronation Street The Tour has welcomed over 100, 000 visitors.

Demand for the Tour which opened on April 5th has been strong with Continuum Leading Attractions releasing more availability throughout the run of the attraction which is due to close on October 4th.

Commenting on the news, Andy Begg, General Manager of Coronation Street The Tour said, “What an amazing couple of months we have had since we opened to the public in April. We have welcomed an incredible 100, 000 visitors to the tour and people have travelled from as far as Canada and New Zealand, which goes to show what a strong following Corrie has with the public.

"Most pleasing of all is that everyone coming on the tour is really enjoying their time with us, from visiting the dressing rooms to having their photo taken behind the bar in the Rovers, to exploring the dark secrets of the “Ginnel”. I love seeing the visitor’s faces as they step out onto the street for the first time to the “dah dah dah dah dah dah” theme tune. Kids sprint down the cobbles, parents seek out their favourite landmarks and many visitors even record themselves on their phones recreating their favourite Corrie scenes.”
