Poly MGM Museum, a new cultural experience powered by innovative technologies, is to open at the MGM Macau resort in November.
The new museum is a collaboration between MGM China and Poly Culture – the art and culture development entity of China Poly Group.
Via a press release, Poly MGM Museum will be the first world-class museum within an integrated resort (IR) in the Greater China region.
The 2,000-square-metre venue will display national treasures alongside modern and contemporary works by Chinese and international artists.

The museum’s innovative features include movable LED screens and flexible display panels to create a dynamic exhibition space. Cutting-edge technologies used in the venue include Poly’s proprietary OLED screens for interactive displays, and directional audio systems.
Wang Bo, chairman of Poly Culture, said the Poly MGM Museum is “a venue to champion premier Chinese culture and display the splendor of intangible cultural heritage”.
It will also serve as “a confluence for cultural and artistic exchange, fostering dialogue and mutual enrichment between civilizations”.
He added: “This is particularly inspiring given its location in Macau – a historic critical juncture on the maritime silk road and within the Greater Bay Area, a forefront of China’s connection to the world.
