The Touring Exhibitions Organisation (Teo), a one-stop resource platform for the international touring exhibitions community, has revealed details of Teo Live 2024.
This free online event is taking place on Thursday 23 May from 3 pm to 5.30 pm CEST and will examine new practices and productions in international touring exhibitions. Registration is now open.
Gathering the international touring exhibitions community
Teo Live has been developed for the international touring exhibitions community and provides a space where they can find out about exhibitions and experiences, learn about trends, and network with other professionals from across the globe.
Professionals working in the hosting, touring, production, and promotion of cultural exhibitions and experiences around the world, including museums and galleries, science centres, libraries, archives, gardens, zoos, and event and exhibition venues are invited to attend.
The 2024 event will highlight creative trends and fresh content in international touring. It will include a keynote presentation from Luc Jacquet, Oscar-winning nature documentary director, and Charles Sadoul, digital artist and live shows creative director. They will discuss how key approaches from cinema and live event productions can drive creativity and engagement in international travelling exhibitions.
The event will also feature networking opportunities with producers and specialist suppliers in dedicated online rooms, and over 25 exhibition presentations in the marketplace.
The call for exhibition presentations opens on Thursday 28 March 2024. Presentation slots last for two minutes each. Travelling exhibition producers on Teo may showcase one exhibition while also introducing their portfolio. Cultural institutions looking for travelling exhibitions are invited to share a call for exhibits.
The Touring Exhibitions Organisation (Teo) recently ran two conference sessions at the 2024 Touring Exhibitions Pavilion event, which took place on 16 and 17 January 2024 at Museum Connections in Paris. The sessions explored emerging trends and new experiences in worldwide touring exhibitions, with speakers from the spheres of art, science, design, history, natural history, world cultures, popular culture, and technology.
