The Touring Exhibitions Organisation (Teo), a one-stop resource platform for the international touring exhibitions community, has revealed details of two conference sessions at the 2024 Touring Exhibitions Pavilion event.

The Touring Exhibitions Pavilion is taking place on 16 and 17 January 2024 at Museum Connections in Paris.

Teo’s conferences will explore emerging trends and new experiences in worldwide touring exhibitions, with a programme that includes international producers and experts in the fields of art, science, design, history, natural history, world cultures, popular culture, and technology.

These renowned speakers will share the sector’s creative, immersive, sensorial, interactive and sustainable innovations. Presentations will include a range of projects developed for museums and cultural organisations, heritage and leisure attractions, tourist boards, parks, and outdoor and public spaces.

Conference programme

The conferences will take place at the Porte de Versailles in Paris, and run from 2 pm to 3 pm each day. Recordings will be available on the Teo platform.

The first conference will take place on Tuesday 16 January 2024.

The part 1 programme features presentations from the American Museum of Natural History, the Design Museum, Musée de la civilisation, National Museums Scotland, lililillilil, Science Museum Group, PANART Connections, Nomad Exhibitions, Cap Sciences, Contemporanea Progetti, MEDARTEC, GL Events Venues, and Grand Palais Immersif.

On Wednesday 17 January 2024, part 2 will include presentations from the Natural History Museum, PHI Studio, ACMI, Universcience – Cité des sciences et de l’industrie & Palais de la découverte, Icebreaker Studios, Project Holocene, Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle, Culturespaces Digital, Tempora, Citéco – Cité de l’économie, Lascaux International Exhibition, World Touring Exhibitions, and Disgusting Food Museum.

Last month, The Touring Exhibitions Organisation (Teo) announced details of the Touring Exhibitions Pavilion in collaboration with the international museum event Museum Connections. This yearly event is dedicated to international touring exhibitions and welcomes international creators and hosts of travelling exhibitions to explore new trends, productions, and projects.
