First cities and countries are set to be revealed this month in London

The Giant Company, an Irish organisation working in concert with cities, embassies, and leaders across the globe, has shared a progress update regarding procuring debut locations for its unique visitor attraction concept.

As one of the latest visitor attraction concepts to be announced recently, The Giant project stands taller than the Statue of Liberty at more than ten stories tall. Its structure’s arms and head can be repositioned into a range of poses, and its patented skin will feature a matrix of millions of LED pixels.

The Giant can be configured to transform into any man, woman, boy or girl, including historical figures such as Albert Einstein to stars of today including Lionel Messi and Beyoncé. Visitors can also be scanned inside The Giant’s exhibition space and replicated onto the giant statue, creating “the world’s most spectacular selfie”.

Collaborative project

The Giant Company has worked with property consultants CBRE, the world’s largest real estate firm, to determine sites for The Giant visitor attraction around the world. In addition to CBRE, The Giant Company has been engaging with an independent network of consultants seeking additional locations for The Giant.

An international collective of design and engineering firms has also been appointed to work alongside The Giant Company’s in-house creative and technical staff. These include architecture studio dan pearlman, engineering firm WSP, system integrators Kraftwerk Living Technologies GmbH, alongside Ledeca, Mantis Vision and sculptors from Dublin’s National Wax Museum Plus.

Eric Fraad, director of development at The Giant Company, says: “The team we have assembled represents some of the most talented designers and technicians in the world.

“Beyond their remarkable skills and experience, they bring a sense of passion and vision for the project that is unique and will result in an attraction that thrums with imagination, originality and wonder.”

The Giant Company is set to make an announcement of debut cities at IAAPA Expo Europe next week. More information on the project can be found on Booth #4005 or by emailing The Giant Company team.
