blooloop is pleased to announce the seventh blooloop 50 Museum Influencer List, revealed with our friends at The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia and MDSX, an experiential design agency specialising in unique-themed experiences for the entertainment and leisure industry.
Museums, art galleries, cultural institutions and heritage sites play a pivotal role as places for dialogue and education. They are also a regenerative force, allowing for community collaboration and dialogue.
This year's blooloop 50 Museum Influencer List was revealed in a webinar with Alice Sarsfield-Hall, director at blooloop; Abby Bysshe, chief experience and strategy officer at The Franklin Institute; and Dan Picard, owner and creative director of MDSX.
Making a significant contribution to the sector
The 2026 List recognises the leaders and creatives who are pushing the boundaries of cultural spaces, making them bolder, more inclusive and more innovative.
"The blooloop 50 is a celebration of the leaders, thinkers, and changemakers who are reimagining what a cultural experience can be," says Bysshe.
Picard adds: "At a time when information is constantly being questioned, museums remain one of our most trusted sources of truth, curiosity, and shared understanding."
The blooloop 50 lists are open to all, with entrants being nominated by their peers from across the industry. It is an opportunity for those in the visitor attractions industry to celebrate colleagues they feel have made a significant contribution to the museum sector over the past year.
blooloop would also like to thank our panel of judges: Tony Butler, executive director at Derby Museums; Abby Bysshe; Catherine Franche, executive director at Ecsite; Cybelle Jones, CEO of SEGD; and Dan Picard.
