News
ARCO/Murray has announced that the next instalment of its Innovative Locations webinar series will feature Will Dean, CEO of Electric Gamebox

New Innovative Locations episode will explore the fast-growing new concept

ARCO/Murray, a leading design-builder specializing in national rollouts across a wide spectrum of industries, has announced the next instalment of its Innovative Locations webinar series. This will take place at 10 am CST on Wednesday 28 July and will feature Will Dean, the CEO and co-founder of Electric Gamebox.

Electric Gamebox is a unique new concept that has already proved popular in the UK and is now expanding to a range of locations in the US. It uses touch screens, projection mapping and motion sensors to create an immersive, multiplayer game experience, without the need for VR glasses.

Insights into an innovative new concept

During this upcoming episode of ARCO/Murray’s successful Innovative Locations series, Dean will talk about how Electric Gamebox came from his desire to make screentime more social and to use digital gaming to bring people together for shared experiences.

As the concept comes to the US, ARCO/Murray will be building upcoming Electric Gamebox locations across California, Colorado, Illinois, Georgia, Texas, Utah and Virginia. Presently, Electric Gamebox has one US location in Dallas, Texas.

Innovative Locations is an opportunity for ARCO/Murray to host a range of clients and partners, giving them a platform to tell their stories and share insights on the future of the location-based entertainment industry.

During last month’s episode, the company showcased WhirlyBall, interviewing its VP Adam Elias. WhirlyBall is a popular LBE business with five locations across Chicago, Colorado and Wisconsin. Here, guests enjoy a combination of bumper cars, lacrosse, hockey and basketball, all in one game.

Previous interviewees include Puttshack CEO and industry veteran Joe Vrankin and Zach Shor, SVP of TOCA Social US. ARCO is the general contractor for Topgolf, iFly, Puttshack and many other top brands in location-based entertainment.
