Clip ‘n Climb opens new franchise site at London’s O2

News
Clip n Climb O2

Firm’s period of unprecedented growth continues with new site in the UK capital

Clip ‘n Climb, an international leader in the fun climbing market, has announced the opening of its fourth franchise centre. The new centre joins other successful leisure brands at The O2 in London, such as iFly Indoor Skydiving, TOCA Social, Boom Battle Bar, Oxygen Freejumping, and the Up at The O2 roofwalk attraction.

Despite being located in a small area, Clip ‘n Climb will provide a high-impact and visually striking spectacle with challenges that are vibrantly coloured and ten meters high – a height matched by only one other location in the United Kingdom. Adventurers of all ages will be challenged and delighted by the climbing challenges available, which include favourites like Stairway to Heaven and the competitive Speed Wall.

To accommodate newcomers and those seeking a challenge, a conventional climbing wall featuring six climbing lines and twelve distinct courses will also be accessible on the premises. There is something for everyone, whether climbers want to overcome their fear of heights, plan a team-building activity, break a personal record, or have a great time with friends and family. Clip ‘n Climb appeals to a broad audience because of its inclusivity and depth, which keeps climbers returning for more.

In addition, the thrilling Vertical Drop Slide also opens up additional revenue opportunities for the centre.

Franchise sites grow

Clip ‘n Climb at The O2 is the second fun climbing franchise for owner Simon Jobson, who opened Clip ‘n Climb Wandsworth in southwest London in February. Jobson is now Clip ‘n Climb’s first multi-unit franchisee and plans to open more centres in the future.

“Following the success of Clip ‘n Climb Wandsworth, I have been eager to invest in another centre,” says Jobson. “When a site became available at The O2, it was a no-brainer; I immediately knew this would be perfect for Clip ‘n Climb. The team at head office have proven themselves again and have been incredibly supportive every step of the way. I am very much looking forward to the opening and my next Clip n’ Climb business venture.”

With Clip ‘n Climb opening at The O2 on Sunday 20 October, the number of franchise sites is set to grow further before the end of the year, as preparations are well underway for centres in High Wycombe and Northampton.

Earlier this year, the company launched a new product in its library of fun climbing challenges. Artifact is a visually appealing and accessible addition with four climbing lines of varying difficulty.
