Compagnie des Alpes to Develop Turkey’s Ski Potential

News

Compagnie des Alpes (CDA) has signed an agreement with the Turkish Ski Federation (TSF) to assess Turkey’s “ski potential” and identify some promising sites for development.

CDA responded to a call to tender from TKF, and won the contract as a result of 25 years’ expertise in some of France’s most prestigious ski resorts.

Turkey has the potential to develop a significant ski industry.  Only 1 per cent of the population currently ski regularly in a country where 60 per cent of the landscape is mountainous.
