HTC VIVE, a leading virtual reality (VR) platform and ecosystem, has announced the launch of a new webinar series called The Practicality of VR, exploring what virtual reality can actually do today vs. the possibilities.
Top technologists and VR pioneers will be interviewed as they go over the challenges and opportunities in employing VR in places like the operating room, the battlefield, and location-based entertainment venues.
Episode one features expert panel
The first episode of this new series features location-based virtual reality entrepreneur, Bob Cooney, who will interview a varied panel of location-based VR game creators, operators and distributors. Together, they will dive into the topic of the Practicality of VR in Location-Based Entertainment.
Speakers include Armando Lanuti, president and owner of Creative Works; Ben Davenport,
CEO of VRsenal; George Smith, president and CEO of Family Entertainment Group and Jim Bennington, vice president of games & entertainment at Lucky Strike Entertainment. They will give their insights into the current state of the location-based VR market and discuss measures to steer broader VR adoption in the entertainment space.
