IAAPA, the global trade association for the attractions industry, has announced that registration is now open for the IAAPA FEC Summit 2020 in Georgia.

IAAPA is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the eighth annual IAAPA FEC Summit 2020, which takes place in Stone Mountain, Georgia, from the 26th – 28th January. The event brings together Family Entertainment Centre (FEC) operators and owners. During the leading international conference, professionals in the FEC industry will have opportunities to learn best practices and share ideas.

The three-day event will feature education sessions covering a range of interesting and important topics in the FEC sector. Attendees will also benefit from exclusive networking events where they will be able to connect with colleagues and industry professionals. In addition to this, there will also be a behind-the-scenes educational opportunity at Andretti’s Indoor Karting & Games.

Guest talks and workshops

Alan Miltz, a financial analysis expert, will be a special guest speaker at the event. Miltz is the co-author of “Scaling Up”.  This publication teaches entrepreneurs how to simplify their business while increasing profits. He will present a hands-on workshop for attendees, which highlights case studies.

The event will also include the “Launch into Arcade Panel: 2020 Vision for Arcade Operators”. This will feature industry experts and explores emerging trends in the gaming industry. Education and breakout sessions will look at a variety of subjects relevant to the industry, such as food and beverage, events bookings, risk management, games, attractions, and marketing.

Participants have the option of attending a post-tour on the 29th of January, which will take in local FECs in a “dine-around” style in order to learn from these businesses. It will include Urban Air’s newest 100,000 square foot facility, Malibu Norcross Grand-Prix, and Stars and Strikes.

The annual event is organised and hosted by IAAPA and will be located at the Atlanta Evergreen Marriott Conference Resort. Attendees can register from now until the 30th of November, to take advantage of a discounted member registration rate. Sponsors of the event include Walltopia, Intercard, Embed, Booking Boss, DOF Robotics, and OmniArena.

IAAPA also recently announced more details ahead of IAAPA Expo Europe 2019 in Paris. An extensive line up of speakers has been revealed, including world-renowned industry leaders.
