Upsell function leads to increased revenue for Florida FEC brand

Semnox Solutions, a provider of technology for the entertainment and amusement industry, has announced that GameTime in Florida has achieved over 5% revenue impact with its kiosk upsell feature.

GameTime is a popular FEC brand with venues in Daytona, Fort Myers, Miami, Ocoee, Tampa, Kissimmee, with plans to open locations in Clearwater, and Plantation too. It features “Play with your Food” arcades, restaurants, bars, and party venues, and visitors can enjoy attractions such as bowling, or just kick back in the sports bar.

Upgraded kiosks

GameTime recently upgraded its Semnox Parafait software, which it uses to manage everything from entertainment to F&B in all six venues. As part of the upgrade project, the operator was able to design and implement a customised interface for GameTime’s Parafait Klassic self-service kiosks.

Soon after completing this project, GameTime reported an increase in revenue, thanks to the new upsell function.

“This demonstrates that we can have a far greater impact by refining what and when the guests’ sees. While this change had a positive impact on our revenue, more importantly, it provided a better value for our guests. This simple change shows that we have a lot of upside and it is up to us on how to drive the process,” says Mike Abecassis, CEO of GameTime.

Semnox Solutions also recently implemented its ‘Klaimprize’ self-service redemption kiosk at Loveland Laser Tag. Now, the Colorado FEC, which is home to a laser tag arena, escape rooms, an indoor ropes course, bumper cars, a 4D motion theatre, a laser maze, a climbing wall and an arcade, can offer a streamlined redemption process.

Last month, the company also provided its Arcade Debit Card System to Happy Day FEC in Tabuk’s Grand Mall, Saudi Arabia, meaning that the venue now benefits from a comprehensive and reliable customer experience management solution.
