Bowling-style scoring system and random game challenge selection pits players against each other to get the highest score

Sports Simulator, a provider of advanced leisure simulators, has taken inspiration from the scoring system of ten-pin bowling, with spares and strikes over 10 legs, to create its new Multi Play option, which also has a random game challenge selection.

Each Multi Play game is unique, allowing up to six players to compete with each other through 10 different game challenges. Each player has two attempts at each challenge, as the leaderboard updates in real-time with scores, strikes and spares. These live scores add a competitive edge to the games, meaning that visitors are highly engaged and will want to come back again to beat their own or others’ high scores.

New play option engages guests and encourages repeat visits

Initially, the first sport that the company provided the new Multi Play option for was football, adding it to the existing Contest Play and Match Play offerings.

Following positive feedback, Sports Simulator is now rolling out Multi Play to all the major sports that are available on its platform, including tennis, ice hockey, baseball, rugby union, basketball, field hockey, contest golf, rugby league, cricket, volleyball, archery, handball, rugby sevens, hurling, field lacrosse and more. It’s also available for other forms of bowling such as duckpin, candlepin, skittles and kegel.

Sports Simulator offers over 60 sports and more than 1,500 game challenges, with over 3,500 sporting venues now available.

Recently, the company also introduced an entertaining new way to help audiences understand environmental principles and eco-friendly sources of energy. Brands looking to engage customers in these topics can now utilise ‘eco sports’ technology from Sports Simulator to promote green values and sustainability.

Sports Simulator also celebrated the opening of Unstoppable SportsZone earlier this year in Beaverton, Michigan, where visitors can play up to sixty of the firm’s mixed reality sports games.
