Zero Latency, a global leader in VR entertainment, has announced the December launch of “Slay Season”, a brand-new holiday-themed mode for its popular zombie survival game, Outbreak.
Players will encounter seasonal horrors like never before in this exclusive version of the traditional adventure, which features Santa-clad zombies, snow-dusted battlefields, and the perfect amount of holiday chaos. Fans who have already fought through Outbreak will enjoy a reimagined experience with a holiday twist that adds unexpected jokes and festive thrills.
Unforgettable seasonal experience
Outbreak has become established as one of Zero Latency’s most popular games. As it reaches its first anniversary, the new Slay Season mode brings a fully immersive holiday battle to the game with jingling zombies in Santa hats, cheerful decor, and a soundtrack that switches from merry to menacing.
Hayley McKenzie, CMO of Zero Latency VR, says: “With Slay Season, we’ve taken one of our most popular games, Outbreak, and added a festive, holiday-themed twist. It’s a perfect example of how we can reimagine our most beloved IP to celebrate key moments throughout the year, creating unforgettable, themed experiences.
“Packed with seasonal surprises, Slay Season delivers the ideal mix of fun, nostalgia, and thrilling gameplay, bringing people together to make lasting memories during special times of the year.”
Slay Season is ideal for a fun family experience or a memorable team event and will be available globally from 4 December to 5 January. Zero Latency is currently offering a 20% discount as part of its Black Friday sale.
Last month, Zero Latency announced plans for the trade show floor debut of its new 6-player turnkey arena at IAAPA Expo 2024 in Orlando. Visitors to the company’s booth could try the newest AAA VR experience, Space Marine VR – Defenders of Avarax, in a compact,1055-square-foot arena developed for multi-attraction entertainment centres.
