American Dream is set to open the first location of JUMP, a hyper-reality cliff jumping attraction, at the end of 2021.

JUMP was founded in November 2018 by James Jensen, former creator and co-founder of The VOID. The attraction is opening its first location at American Dream in New Jersey.

“JUMP surpasses current entertainment offerings and is a pioneer in the newest category of entertainment: hyper-reality,” Jensen said.

“Hyper-reality means we’re-creating an experience that includes several sensory elements, including the feeling of wind and heat, smell (like the scent of pine trees), and the very real physical sensation of jumping and ultimately flying.”

“We are thrilled to be bringing this unique experience to American Dream,” Jensen added. “It’s the perfect location for our first JUMP location.”

American Dream‘s JUMP will offer a completely new hyper-reality experience. It includes a real wingsuit, outfitted for JUMP, as well as a virtual reality (VR) helmet.

The JUMP simulator uses suspension, wind systems and VR so that visitors can experience the extreme thrill of jumping off cliffs and skyscrapers – but without any danger.

“We are excited to welcome the first JUMP location to American Dream,” said Nicole Mozeliak, chief operating officer at American Dream.

“By pioneering the future of entertainment with technology, this partnership aligns with our mission to delight guests across physical and digital spaces and create unforgettable moments.”

JUMP joins existing entertainment and attractions at American Dream, which include DreamWorks Water Park, Nickelodeon Universe and Big SNOW.

American Dream opened another immersive attraction earlier this year called TiLT Museum, which was followed by the launch of the SEA LIFE Aquarium and Legoland Discovery Center

“JUMP is everything that location-based hyperreality should be,” Jensen added. “We’ve envisioned an experience that transcends what’s possible for people to experience in real life.

“Mustering the courage to JUMP off a mountaintop and fly close to the ground has the possibility to transform people. People who have experienced the demo are truly blown away.”
