Six Flags Magic Mountain in California is preparing to open its new family-friendly Looney Tunes Land tomorrow (6 June).

The park announced plans to transform its kids area into the new Looney Tunes-themed land in December 2025.

The land will include four areas, inspired by Bugs Bunny, Taz, Road Runner and Daffy Duck.

In Bugs Bunny Play Park, the Speedy Gonzalez Hot Rods and Pepe Le Pew’s Tea Party attractions have been removed and replaced with themed play experiences and exploration zones.

Additionally, the Merrie Melodies Merrie-Go-Round has been refurbished to match the rest of the land, and the Wascal's restaurant has been refreshed and updated to include an explorable Granny's House with 2D elements.

Taz-mania features the new Taz’s Tasmanian Train attraction, and the Magic Flyer and Tweety's Escape locations have been replaced with Taz's Exploration Trail.

Road Runner Ridge is a New Mexico-themed area with ACME traps, rock formations and desert terrain, as well as Wile E. Coyote's iconic painted tunnel.

Finally, Camp Duck Amuck is a High Sierra-inspired zone in which Taz's Trucking Company has become Daffy's Forest Four-Wheelers, and the Looney Tunes Lodge has been renewed.

Mike Ostrom, entertainment manager at Six Flags Magic Mountain, said: "Bringing a project as big as this to life took an enormous amount of creativity and teamwork behind the scenes.

"Every attraction, environment and hidden detail in this land was created to capture the fun and personalities of these classic Looney Tunes characters."

Six Flags has a long-standing partnership with Warner Bros.

"The new Looney Tunes Land will be a continuation of our mutually successful partnership with Warner Bros. that began more than 40 years ago and will continue to celebrate the characters of their beloved franchise," Raffi Kaprelyan, SVP and West Coast regional general manager for Six Flags, said in a previous statement.
