Alcorn Debuts Apple Watch AV Control App at InfoComm 2015

Leading manufacturer of show control, audio and video equipment for the themed entertainment industry, Alcorn McBride, is unveiling a new app for the Apple Watch at InfoComm 2015.

Dubbed ‘ShowWatcher’, the app allows users to programme up to 32 buttons to control Alcorn McBride show control, audio, video or lighting control products (or other devices that accept UDP commands) and then activate them remotely from an Apple Watch for operational or maintenance purposes.

Alcorn McBride reports that ShowWatcher works particularly well with their Pro-Series Show Controllers – embedded controllers that feature an abundance of serial ports, dual Ethernet ports, linear timecode, real-time clock schedule and a multi-tasking operating system.

Other brand new products being showcased are the A/V Binloop Uncompressed synchronized video player with 2K/4K playback aimed at video wall and blended projection applications, the DVM8500-AB Digital Video Machine HD which offers full HD 1080p resolution in a very compact format and the AmpTraXX 16-channel amplifier with DSP designed for theme park ride vehicles, multi-lingual transportation systems and tour buses.

InfoComm 2015 runs from June 13-19 at the Orange County Convention Centre in Orlando. Alcorn McBride will be debuting their new products in Booth No.1301.
