AMEGA Entertainment, a project design and engineering company specialising in the field of motion technologies and simulation, has announced the opening of a new cinematic experience in Turkey.
AMEGA’s latest Cinemotion xD installation is located in Çamlıca Tower, which has become one of Turkey’s latest architectural icons at a height of 587 meters above sea level, consisting of 49 floors. The company both designed and manufactured the new experience, which has already seen visitors from all over the world. The Cinemotion xD attraction provides guests with a unique, immersive journey of the capital city.
A lifelike flight experience
Cinemotion xD Multidimensional Cinema systems provide a motion platform solution for up to 34 people. The devices can be created by AMEGA with a choice of either 3DOF or 6DOF dynamic platforms. Each can benefit from ergonomic seats and integrated full effect packages to ensure audiences are comfortable on their immersive multidimensional journeys.
For ease of use, the system only requires one operator to run, assisted by a user-friendly touchscreen control panel.
By combining advanced motion technology with high-quality film content, AMEGA can provide high-resolution 3D, 4D and VR ride movie options by working with some of the biggest ride movie production companies in the world.
One customer said: “Cinemotion xD, which I tried in Çamlıca Tower, offered me a cinematic experience that I had not encountered before. The realism of the platform movements and the seamless harmony with the visual effects took my experience to a higher level. The sound quality was also a very nice factor that complemented the created ambience. I felt like I was actually flying over Istanbul.”
Sharing the experience with the industry
Top brands from the entertainment and gaming industries will exhibit thousands of leading products at ATRAX’22, a trade fair that will be held for the ninth time in Istanbul in early February. AMEGA says it is looking forward to the event where it will exhibit its products to industry stakeholders.
AMEGA provide its technical and manufacturing services in motion simulator technologies to clients in over 46 countries on six continents.
An AMEGA representative adds “As AMEGA, we meet people all over the city with our technologies. We [installed the attraction] in Çamlıca Tower, which was built in Istanbul and became one of the symbols of the city with its opening. At the same time, we have completed all our preparations for the International Amusement, Event, Park and Recreation Fair ATRAX, which will be held in Istanbul from 3-5 February 2022.
“We invite the entire entertainment and virtual reality industry to experience AMEGA technologies both at the Camlica Tower and at the ATRAX 2022 fair.”
