Art Processors, the experiential design consultancy, has unveiled the advanced experience management system, Pladia.
With its official business launch, the platform is positioned to transform how visitors tour and interact with attractions through its ability to perfectly combine physical and digital spaces.
Visitor-centred design
Pladia provides user-friendly software solutions that enable visitor attractions to design, guide, manage, and improve on-site guest experiences. Using the platform, operators can create individualised and engaging journeys for diverse visitors by employing advanced tools such as accessibility features, real-time statistics, adaptable content, and interactive maps.
With its foundation in a visitor-centred design methodology and bolstered by an extensive feature roadmap, Pladia distinguishes itself by tackling practical issues in a dynamic environment of changing audience expectations, accessibility needs, and swift technological advancements.
Pladia has been developed by Art Processors and is the result of over 10 years of experience creating award-winning visitor experiences.
The O, the first location-aware museum guide in the world, debuted in 2011 at the Museum of Old and New Art (Mona) and marked Art Processors’ launch. The Getty, Australian War Memorial, Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney Opera House, Bob Dylan Center, and WA Museum Boola Bardip are just a few of the prestigious institutions which have offered insights to inform Pladia’s unified software platform. The resulting system is based on visitor-centred design and the knowledge that no two cultural centres are the same.
Meaningful engagement
Andi Mastrosavas, CEO at Pladia, says: “Ongoing discovery and innovation set us apart. Our products are shaped by valuable insights from our early adopters and rigorous testing with real visitors. The result is a suite of reliable tools that are simple to implement, scalable to diverse venues, and designed to deliver meaningful value over time.”
Pladia aims to enhance visitor experiences by integrating the physical and digital worlds through its spatial publishing platform. It has been designed to enhance each visit through meaningful, unforgettable interactions. The team strives to provide visitor attractions with the necessary tools to increase engagement and satisfaction.
Art Processors recently worked with the USS Midway Museum in San Diego, US on its new Midway’s Engineers: Service, Sacrifice and Everyday Life exhibition. The USS Midway is the longest-serving aircraft carrier in the 20th century, and Art Processors designed the exhibition so that the ship is the main narrative medium with bunks, lockers, pipes and more offering interactive experiences.
