Canterbury Park Selects Toptix CRM Platform to Support Service Excellence

Leading ticketing company, TopTix, has provided its SRO solution to Canterbury Park Racetrack and Card Casino in Shakopee, Minnesota.

Canterbury selected the advanced ticketing, CRM and marketing platform to support its mission of service excellence.

Staff at the horse racing facility are trained in the ‘Canterbury Way’ to anticipate and exceed customer expectations.

“SRO is overwhelmingly amazing,” commented Jennie Palmer, Director of Guest Services.

“The more time I spend learning about the capabilities, the more impressed I become. Thus far, there has not been a single challenge that SRO or the TopTix support team has not been able to address.”

Aside from the racetrack, Canterbury Park also operates Canterbury Card Casino, offering a mix of poker and casino games 24/7. In addition, the venue hosts a number of special events including major concerts, trade shows and sporting events.

The company’s complex MVP Rewards programme offers and manages many levels of patron membership with specific benefits applied to each level. Thus, it is essential to match each guest to their respective level of membership and ensure that the appropriate benefits are being administered such as free admissions or product discounts.

“There is a comprehensive data exchange process with the Casino system to allow for easy access to Live Racing for the members,” explained Brian Stallings, President of TopTix Americas.

“Leveraging the SRO API, Canterbury is not only able to validate membership levels and track and implement overall event related benefits, but also gain valuable information about each member’s visits and activities.”

TopTix’ flagship platform, SRO (Standing Room Only), supports over 500 institutions, processing 80 million tickets a year. The company’s expanding client list encompasses a wide range of sporting and visitor attractions in 16 countries.
