Capturelife, the innovative digital platform reimagining attractions photography, has partnered with event photography specialists Sunrise Image Studios to provide a state-of-the-art digital photography platform to holidaymakers.
Designing a photography program blends seamlessly with the existing guest experience, the two firms have worked with Club Med to integrate a new, enhanced service for the holiday provider.
Since it popularised the ‘all-inclusive’ concept, Club Med has remained a leader in holiday experiences for more than seven decades. With the tagline “when everything is included, all you need to add are the memories”, the firm’s business model has long focussed on creating lasting memories during once-in-a-lifetime vacations.
Lasting experiences
By connecting Capturelife’s dedicated photography platform to Club Med’s guest management system, the RFID bands of tourists can now be scanned to automatically link photos with their Club Med room accounts. Guests can then view and purchase their favourite photos using either their phone or on-site Photo Boutique touchscreen kiosks.
The newly enhanced photo program also ensures that the memories can continue long after guests have left the resort. Before using Capturelife, guests often experienced an impractical and lengthy process to request photos after their vacation.
Now, through the assistance of Capturelife’s integrated marketing campaigns and mobile-friendly eCommerce function, Club Med also benefits from a new communication method and cross-sell revenue opportunities.
Sunrise Image Studios owner Eric Churchill says: “One of our goals with Capturelife was to open up a new source of revenue by marketing and selling to guests after they have left the resorts. The post-vacation sales through Capturelife are significant and we are excited for the future.”
An extra revenue generator
With Capturelife, the Club Med photo experience is now flexible and streamlined for guests and staff, with purchases able to be made anywhere, anytime. Around one-fifth of Club Med’s photo revenue is now generated post-holiday, creating an additional income stream for the travel provider.
With mobile and kiosk options, payments are now accepted through Club Med POS terminals and an integrated online credit card processing system. Capturelife also supports payment in local currencies such as Dominican and Mexican Pesos.
Director of local sales and operations for Club Med, Lorraine Keogh Davis says: “We are proud of our partnership with Sunrise Image Studios and Capturelife. They are delivering the type of experience for our guests and results that align with our high standards. We are already working on ways to expand the program to unlock even more value for Club Med and our guests.”
Capturelife has also enhanced the photography experience for the Atlanta Hawks, a top US basketball team which now holds unique memory moments for fans.
