Ups Investment in AR and VR With $50 million Fund

Japanese company, COLOPL and its subsidiary, COLOPL NEXT, have announced a new $50 million VR/AR Fund.

According to Upload VR, COLOPL VR Fund 2 is being invested in companies that are developing virtual and augmented reality experiences.

This brings the total of COLOPL funds focused on the sector to $100 million.

The company describes itself as ‘laser-focused’ on virtual reality.

SPACES Inc. is one of the beneficiaries, having acquired $6.5 million towards its VR theme park plans.
