The User Group Meeting (UGM), designed for users of the Galaxy® product suite, is being held in Seattle from August 6th and hosted by Gateway.
The week-long event will be packed with customer panels, roundtable discussions, Gateway-led presentations and networking opportunities. There will be 30 sessions and more than 25 customer presentations. Speakers include guests from Google and the U.S. Travel Association.
“It’s a jam-packed week for our customer community, full of educational sessions, the sharing of best practices and lots of networking time,” says Kimberly Weidman, Gateway’s Marketing Manager. “Customers enjoy learning about what’s new and upcoming with the Galaxy® product suite as well as having time to connect with each other and discuss ways to increase revenue, streamline operations and enhance the guest experience.”
The event opens on Sunday August 6th with a Welcome Reception for customers at the Hard Rock Café.
Each following day is set to focus on key conversations, hosted by the Seattle Renaissance.
Monday focuses around Planning for Success. Key topics include new business processes and team training.
On Tuesday the theme is Being Discoverable, with talks focusing on how to attract new guests and keep them coming back time and again. {connect} nation™ has just been announced – a special four-hour presentation event that promotes conversations between attractions and online travel agencies. It also offers superb networking possibilities.
Elevating Your On-Site Experience is the theme for Wednesday. It’s all about enhancing your guest experience and increasing per-capita spending.
Thursday sees Staying Connected – discovering how colleagues are engaging with guests after their visit.
In addition CRM Basic Training offers an in-depth exploration of customer relationship. Customers will also dive into how to use CRM Plus/Powered by Galaxy.
There are customer visits planned through the week, with tours of Washington State Ferries and Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium.
The first Galaxy UGM app – which has been developed to ease communication between customers, sponsors and Gateway will be an exciting feature of UGM.
