Integrated Systems Events to provide support for VR Days Europe

An official cooperation between ISE and the leading virtual, augmented  and mixed reality festival in Amsterdam has been announced.

Now in its third year, the festival is a celebration of virtual and augmented content, creativity and production.  VR Days Europe 2017 – Where Realities Meet will comprise a mix of events, including an exciting range of keynote speeches, sessions, workshops and seminars.  In 2016, the festival attracted over 3,000 attendees.

Integrated Systems Events is set to provide content, marketing and organisational support for VR Days Europe. In return, the festival will put on a new VR Days event at ISE 2018, specifically targeted towards ISE exhibitors and attendees.

ISE VR Days Europe 2017The agreement with VR Days forms part of ISE’s strategic commitment to develop complementary, cutting-edge technology and business events that are able to sit alongside the annual four-day Integrated Systems Europe exhibition. Integrated Systems Events is also responsible for production of the DSS series of international conferences and the Smart Building Conference.

“Our mission is to unite the VR and AR communities, to inspire creative minds and to drive business forward,” says Benjamin de Wit, VR Days Europe Festival Director.

“I am delighted that we are working with ISE as we complement one another perfectly. Together we are confident that we can develop the event and the brand. A number of the vertical market sectors we cover are extremely relevant for the AV market-place. There is the potential for a great deal of synergy.”

ISE VR Days Europe 2016The festival has five key components, each held in a different location in Amsterdam. The VR Days Europe Conference will be held at the city’s DeLaMar Theatre.  This will showcase leading VR and AR creative professionals at a dedicated one-day conference.

Expert Tracks will be hosted by leading lights in content, technology and research.  It will explore a variety of vertical market sectors such as media, arts, entertainment, healthcare, education and enterprise solutions.

At The VRackathon, VR experts will tackle technical challenges set by a variety of companies and organisations

A CineMart will feature a jury of VR film and technology leaders.  They will be debating projects looking for finance and distribution.  Meanwhile The Church of VR will showcase a range of the finest VR content.

The Halo Awards will honour leading AR, VR, and MR projects.
