World leader in show control, Medialon, has released a new device driver plugin to control Videro Media Players.

MxMVideroMediaPlayer allows Medialon control systems to communicate with and synchronise shows to video playback from VideroMediaPlayer.
The plugin talks to VideroMediaPlayer software over the network, making it easy for Medialon systems to control volume and audio playback as well as Channels, Playlists, and Compositions.
Videro Compositions can also transmit Timecode via the network to the Medialon system for frame-accurate synchronisation of Medialon timelines to Videro media playback, which makes it particularly relevant to 4D cinema applications.
"Videro media playback and Medialon control systems are both used in many of the same kinds of applications, including retail, hospitality, exhibits, and attractions, ” explained Eric Cantrell, Medialon’s North American Sales Manager. “Tighter integration between Medialon and Videro brings the industry one step closer to the Internet of AV."
