Dataton, renowned Swedish show control developer and manufacturer, has moved into a new HQ.
The new building on Mjärdevi Science Park in Linköping, Sweden, was designed for Dataton by award-winning architect Petra Gipp, one of Sweden's representatives at this year's International Architecture Exhibition at the Venice Biennale.
The modern wedge shaped building has an open-plan cement and raw pine interior and asphalted cardboard facade.
Dataton's owner and founder, Björn Sandlund, said, “The new HQ reflects and strengthens our corporate profile, providing a new and attractive forum for our existing customers – and new ones. Dataton started out in 1973 and we continue to grow and expand our business worldwide. As such, Mjärdevi Science Park is the right place for us: a stimulating environment, close to the city's university with all its recruitment potential, and home to many innovative companies in a range of industries. We look forward to making our mark on Mjärdevi!”
Dataton’s new headquarters includes showroom and training areas with a 25m wide curved screen, as well as marketing, sales and R&D departments.
Dataton's new address is:
