Schlitterbahn New Braunfels Waterpark has been voted the world’s best waterpark for 14 consecutive years and is a firm favourite with visitors. Tubenbach features several interconnected attractions which is connected by a state-of-the-art ‘Transportainment’ river which allows tubers to remain in the water as they float through the Schlitterbahn East area.

The river is a huge record-breaking white water river which is an amazing 3600 feet long and can be entered at various points throughout the park, whilst the beach areas surrounding the River Bend heated pool are at the far end of Schlitterbahn East.

The Falls is the world’s longest waterpark ride and features “raging rapids, careening waterfalls and giant waves.” The Falls is a constantly rushing river which can take guests on a ride up the park’s first Aqua Veyer, a conveyor belt lift hill, to the start of the ride, meaning that visitors never have to leave the water whilst they are at the park, if they don’t want to.

The Fall has been voted the World’s Best New Waterpark ride by the Amusement Today (Golden Ticket Award), and the readers of About.com (Reader’s Choice Award).

Other rides include the Deluge Whirlpool River, which takes tubers on a fast-moving journey through a wave-filled canyon and connects to The Falls, allowing guests to “choose your own adventure” for a continuous water ride.

For the less adrenaline fuelled guests, the Boogie Bay Heated pool is the perfect place to relax in a tropical setting and sip at a beverage of their choice, whilst the Butterfly Bayou Kid’s Area is ideal for the little ones with its miniature waterslides.

New guest amenities include the addition of multiple Treehaus luxury suites, Treehaus cabins, several beaches, new lounging locations, the Grand Lawn event area, and the Wasserstrasse river walk along the banks of the Comal River.

"We are excited that our new collection of attractions and resort accommodations are ready for their first full summer of operation, " explained Darren Hill, Schlitterbahn New Braunfels’ general manager.

"Not only do we feel that this is the most thrilling new collection of attractions to open this year in Texas, but we are also hono[u]red to be recognized as the world’s largest and best Waterpark for 14 years straight."

Schlitterbahn New Braunfels Waterpark is open daily and discounted season passes and park tickets are available to buy from the Schlitterbahn website (www.schlitterbahn.com). Day passes cost $46.99 for general admission and $37.99 for children, ages 3 – 11 and seniors 55 years or older (prices not including taxes) and parking and tubes are free.
