Ski Dubai Selects Gateway Ticketing Systems as New Ticketing Provider

Gateway Ticketing Systems, Inc., the world leader in admission control and ticketing software for the attraction, amusement, and transportation industries, has announced that it has been selected as Ski Dubai’s new ticketing point of sale provider.

With Gateway’s Galaxy™ point of sale solution, Ski Dubai’s visitors will be able to purchase tickets either onsite or online via an eGalaxy Web Store.  Ski Dubai will also employ Galaxy’s Upsell module together with group sales and an integrated business intelligence application.

Gateway and Prologic, a Gateway Value Added Reseller, are working in tandem on the project which is set for completion in early 2015.  

Galaxy’s unified point of sale system integrates multiple sales channels into a single solution enabling Ski Dubai to retain their current access control and RFID locker systems.  Prologic First Dubai Vice President, Amit Sharda says that this level of integration was a key advantage: “We have pursued this project with Gateway for 2 to  3 years. The evaluation process by the Majid Al Futtaim Group was rigorous and very thorough including competition from other ticketing vendors. Gateway & Prologic have provided them with a tightly integrated solution. This project will strengthen our position in the MENA market as we continue to be the leading solution provider for Ticketing & Access Control Solution there.”
