Sony Pictures Entertainment is partnering with VR startup Dreamscape on a Men in Black VR experience.

The Men in Black VR experience will take place at Dreamscape’s flagship location at Westfield Century City, California.

“The iconic MIB brand is big enough for multiple immersive experiences to live within its universe,” said Sony Pictures Entertainment VR Senior Vice President, Jake Zim, in a press release.

Dreamscape revealed the news on Twitter, writing: “We’re looking for a few good agents… #DreamscapeVR’s newest VR adventure, MIB: First Assignment, is coming soon to LA! #MIBVR.”

According to Variety, the experience lasts for 10-12 minutes, with up to six players undertaking a Men in Black-style mission, exploring a variety of worlds on intergalactic hoverbikes.

“There’s always been something aspirational about MIB – and now we can invite our audience to enter the MIB universe and become the iconic agents in ways that are possible only through the magic of VR,” said Dreamscape Chairman Walter Parkes.

“With ‘MIB: First Assignment,’ you will truly be the hero of the adventure.”

The experience includes new characters from the upcoming Men in Black: International movie, as well as original content.

“We know what people are familiar with, what they want to see,” said Zim. “We never want to replay the movie in VR.”

Zim also revealed that Sony plans to take Men in Black to other platforms, hinting at plans for larger-scale immersive projects. “We are really excited about this IP,” he said.

Dreamscape recently launched its first permanent location in Westfield Century City, with more planned for Paramus, N.J., Columbus, Ohio, Roosevelt Field, N.Y., and Dallas, Texas.

Experiences available include Alien Zoo, theBlu: Deep Rescue, and Lavan’s Magic Projector: The Lost Pearl.
