Touring exhibitions driving revenue

In addition to showcasing new touring exhibition content, the 2026 event will focus on the economic models behind international touring productions.

A keynote presentation, convened by Agnès Bertocci-Ruiz, international touring specialist and director of global business development at the American Museum of Natural History, will ask how touring productions can generate significant revenue for both producers and hosts.

In this session, Bertocci-Ruiz will be joined by speakers Tom Cummins, director of exhibits at Science World, a major science centre institution based in Vancouver, and Cédric Moulart, head of touring exhibitions at Tempora, a leading European exhibition organiser.

They will share their views on economic models and the future of touring productions as resources for cultural organisations, drawing from their experience in making, touring, hosting and operating international touring exhibitions.

Additionally, attendees will have opportunities to meet with producers and specialists in dedicated online rooms and access to more than 25 presentations of international touring exhibitions in the marketplace.

The team will be accepting speaker registrations for these 2-minute presentations from 3 pm CET on Tuesday, 24 March.

They are open to travelling exhibitions producer members introducing their portfolios and sharing their latest exhibitions, and to cultural organisations seeking travelling exhibitions to call for exhibitions.

In January, Teo's 2026 Touring Exhibitions Pavilion took place at the international museum fair, Museum Connections, in Paris. The annual Touring Exhibitions Pavilion is dedicated to international travelling exhibitions and brings together creators and hosts to explore the latest trends and productions.
