Europe’s leading event for the €8.6 billion amusement park, leisure and attractions industry , the Euro Attractions Show (EAS) will take place 9th to 11th October  at Messe Berlin, Germany, one of the leading exhibition centres in Europe.

After last year’s successful Euro Attractions Show euro attractions show eas trade show floor londonin London, it is expected that  2012’s EAS will bring over 350 exhibitors to Berlin from the theme park, waterpark, museum, zoo, FEC  and aquarium industries, showcasing their products and services to thousands of key attractions industry visitors.

The Euro Attractions Show is owned, produced and operated by IAAPA (The International Association for Amusement parks and Attractions), the leading international trade association representing the interests of the amusement park, zoo, waterpark, aquarium, museum, fec and other attractions.
 
Sessions at the EAS conference programme which will run  alongside the trade show will cover a variety of topics of interest to amusement park and attractions professionals. These will include sustainability, the use of social media and new technologies , safety, waterparks, FECs and Halloween attractions. There will also be keynote sessions from a number of high profile amusement park industry leaders from across Europe.

A highlight of the week will be a “behind the scenes” look at some local attractions, among them Filmpark Babelsberg , the historic film production site and movie theme park and Tropical Islands, home to a waterpark and the world’s biggest indoor rainforest. During the evenings there will be a number of networking functions.
