Tea Colaianni, Group Human Resources Director for Merlin Entertainments plc, joined the group in 2010 at a time when its dynamic growth was really accelerating. She was responsible for synthesizing the essence of Merlin and its people into a unique set of values – The Merlin Way – which underline everything the business does. In addition she restructured HR practices to be fit for purpose for Merlin’s new status as a publicly quoted company, and for its future development.
A champion of gender diversity, Colaianni was named HR Director of the Year at the 2012 Personnel Today Awards.
Despite the pressures of Merlin’s supercharged growth, Tea and her team have continuously achieved exceptional levels of employee engagement across the Merlin business. Merlin was ranked 15th in the Sunday Times Best Big Companies to Work for list 2015.

Mike, as creative head for Butlins, also co-ordinates the development of over twenty production shows per annum and is the relationship holder for multiple licensed and partnership deals. Butlins also operates sixty live music festivals a year, with over 400, 000 people attending.
Drew has been integral in the development of the Butlins culture. It is this cultural development that has underpinned the Butlins success story over the last 10 years – one of the most successful businesses in the leisure sector. Many other Blue chip companies now engage Drew and the team to help coach and advise their leaders.
