Disneyland Resort has unveiled this year’s haunting Halloween offerings, which include the Oogie Boogie Bash and Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure.

Featuring dreadful décor, Halloween-themed attractions, Disney villains and frightening F&B, Halloween Time returns to Disneyland Resort on 2 September and runs through 31 October.

Celebrating Día de los Muertos through 2 November, Plaza de la Familia will feature live entertainment, festive food and interactive experiences.

Highlights of the eerie event include a street performance inspired by Disney and Pixar’s Coco, as well as ‘The World of Coco’ art installation.

Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout! in Avengers Campus will become Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark, and a giant statue of the Headless Horseman with a jack-o’-lantern will be located on Buena Vista Street.

Over at Disneyland, Frontierland will boast a colourful Día de los Muertos display with a musical trio of skeleton figurines and vibrant flowers.

The park’s ‘Halloween Screams’ projection and light show will be put on every night, with fireworks featuring on weekend nights.

Halloween-themed haunts will also be available in the Downtown Disney District, including Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit, a family-friendly pumpkin hunt.

Elsewhere, Halloween‘s relentless killer Michael Myers is returning to Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort in 2022 for Halloween Horror Nights.
