Mumbai’s Coastal and Marine Biodiversity Centre (CMCB) at the Thane Flamingo Sanctuary at Airoli may soon get a garden glow park.
The Asian Age reports that Finance and Forests minister Sudhir Mungantiwar has revealed plans for 5 acres of glowing installations which will be ready by December 2018.
Inspired Dubai Garden Glow, a night time family attraction in Dubai, the theme for the Airoli structures will be marine bio-diversity.
The Minister made the comments whilst opening the CMCB. The Nature Interpretation Centre is the first phase of the project. The second phase will include a mangrove boardwalk, a marine mammal museum and a dome for live events.
The garden glow park project will be the third phase of the development.
